Based on the challenges we are all currently facing, our concept for this collection has been inspired by the mythical Fifth Province which provided a safe space for dialogue in Ancient Ireland. In the centre of Ireland lies the Hill of Uisneach, recognized as a point of reconciliation; representing Warriorship, Dignity, Stability, Integrity and Principles. All of the attributes needed in the world always and especially at this time in history.

‘9th Archipelago’ therefore, is symbolic. A place that enables us to create despite the restraints in relation to the virus and all the political and scientific confusion surrounding it.
