Authors

Was born in Dublin, grew up in Lincolnshire and now lives in Brighton where she writes short stories and works as an editor. Her stories have been published in Structo and Unthology No.5 (2014), and short and long-listed for various prizes, including the Bridport Prize.

Wendy left grammar school at sixteen with eight ‘O’ levels and no intention of doing ‘A’ levels or attending university. Instead, she pursued an almost forty-year career as an actress, singer and dancer, in London’s West End and the provinces, later turning to teaching exercise and dance. She began writing on retiring to the Sussex coast, but has never had her work published before.

Will Haynes has had a number of stories published in the Labello Press anthologies, the To Hull & Back anthologies, the Escritores de Gaucín anthologies, and Stories from 2045. He was recently placed in The End is Here short story collection (publishing date tbc), and is not particularly comfortable writing deadpan mini-bios about himself.

Has written for national newspapers and magazines in the UK, and has published poetry and fiction in Acumen, The Interpreter’s House, The London Magazine, nthposition, Prole, and The Spectator. His books include The Father and Child Companion (MQP) and Porches (Barron’s). A collection of poetry, Tiny Disturbances, was published by Acumen earlier this year. He lives in London with his wife and children.

Writes short stories, flash fiction and novels, often inspired by folklore. Her work has been published in Fringe Magazine, Luna Station Quarterly and Duality 6, and she has just completed a picture book illustrated with her papercuts. She lives in London where she is a member of the Brick Lane writers’ group, and escapes into Epping Forest for inspiration whenever she can.
